Event Description:
The reason that Smith System’s on-road training is the most effective way to change driving behavior is that it combines the physical reality of traffic, weather and dynamic uncertainty with the constant reinforcement of a certified trainer or Smith System instructor who understands the psychological methodology of The Smith5 Keys® . This is a training method honed over a 60+ year period to deliver tremendous return on your training investment.

Many companies are large enough to warrant their own training staff. The DriverTrainer program is a way to assure that your trainers are teaching the most effective driver safety content. Then, to assure they are staying fresh on the latest information in Smith System training material, we require each trainer to attend a recertification course every two years.
Establish your own driver training course quickly and effectively. Small vehicles, light or medium duty trucks, tractor trailers, or buses, we have a training program for your specific needs. Our instructors train your driver trainers the skills necessary to bring our proven collision prevention methods to your fleet drivers. Your trainers learn how to identify each driver's strengths and weaknesses and provide personalized, practical solutions to various driving deficiencies.

This trainer training course is available in a four day session for up to four trainees, or a five day session for five or six trainees.

FREE FOR PARTICIPANTS (a $129.00 value): Our Driving The 5Keys video provides drivers with a unique insight into common driving errors.  Using a combination of footage taken from both ground-level and aerial perspectives, traffic patterns are analyzed utilizing our proven 5Key techniques.  The presentation also addresses in vehicle collision prevention technology as a compliment, not replacement, for every good driver’s existing skills.
